See All ReviewsShelby Valley Diner was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the waitresses were rude, dismissive, and acted like serving customers was a burden. Basic hospitality seemed completely nonexistent. The service was painfully slow, and we spent far too much time waiting for food that wasn’t even worth it. When it finally arrived, it was mediocre at best bland, underwhelming, and definitely not worth the price. Nothing about the meal stood out in a good way. It’s disappointing when a restaurant has poor food, but it’s even worse when the staff makes customers feel unwelcome. Between the terrible service, rude attitudes, and average food, I won’t be returning and certainly won’t be recommending Shelby Valley Diner to anyone. There are far better places to spend your money.
So can’t even rate the food because the servers trumped me out of my order and had me waiting almost an hour and then acted like I was the issue. So I’m out 30 bucks :/ I know the diner is student run and I appreciate the fact that they are taking their time from studies to work, but business is still business so acting that way is unacceptable. Loved the look of the place tho.
Absolutely amazing, every single time.
